The strategic goal of the European Neighbourhood Instrument Cross-border Cooperation Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus Programme 2014-2020 is to strengthen relations, raise capacities and share experience among people and organisations from Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus through implementation of joined actions aimed at increasing the overall quality of life in the border regions.
The Joint Operational Programme document was adopted by the European Commission on the 17th of December 2015.
On the 21st of September 2016 the Programme launched the first call for project proposals. The deadline to submit the applications was the 20th of December 2016, 16:00 (GMT+2).
On the 22nd of November 2017 the Programme launched the second call for project proposals. The deadline to submit the applications was the 22nd of February 2018, 12:00 (Vilnius time, GMT+2).
On the 18th of March 2019 the Programme launched the third call for project proposals. The deadline to submit the applications was the 30th of May 2019, 12:00 (Vilnius time, GMT+2).
According to the protocol decision of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania of 28 October 2020 “Regarding further implementation of the Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020” the Managing Authority of the Programme suspended payments of funds, allocated for beneficiaries from Belarus.
