PRIORITY 2.1 PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AND COOPERATION IN CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION REGION THROUGH IMPROVED HEALTH, SOCIAL AND EDUCATION SERVICES AND COMMUNITY LED INITIATIVES

Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, Kaliningrad Regional Scientific Library and Marijampole Petras Kriauciunas Public Library have combined forces to reduce seniors’ social isolation. Partners will develop new manuals and offer to seniors an opportunity to develop their skills of intercultural communication in English, human ecology, solving current urban issues and landscaping, using electronic services and creative skills.
As well, a new multifunctional cultural venue shall be installed in Marijampole Petras Kriauciunas Public Library and joint events for seniors such as “Mobile Senior”, ”Theatre of Literature” shall be organised by both countries.
