The Grant Contract between the Managing Authority of the Programme, the Joint Technical Secretariat and the Lead Beneficiary – public establishment “Kazlu Ruda’s Social Support Center” of the first project has been signed:

LT-RU-1-047 “Development of social services in Kazlu Ruda municipality and Gusev city district”.

Two partners from Lithuania and Russia, „Kazlu Ruda‘s Social Support Center“ and "Comprehensive center of social services for the population in the Gusev urban district" are aiming to  improve the care of elderly by reducing social exclusion, providing comfortable living conditions on both sides of the border and developing new and improved services for elderly and disabled people. This means that elderly and disabled people will receive new and improved services (modernized kitchen, a number of rehabilitation equipment and tools, a car and a lift for disabled people), while nursing people, social workers and volunteers will improve their knowledge of social care. The Programme funding of the project is 151 538,85 EUR and the duration of the project – 18 months.

 Remaining projects approved for the Programme funding during the 1^st Call for Proposals are in the process of the final endorsement and signing of Grant Contracts.
