THE THIRD CALL FOR PROPOSALS IN NUMBERS: 67 APPLICATIONS RECEIVED

The 3rd Call for Proposals of the ENI CBC Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus Programme was closed on the 30th of May 2019. Altogether 67 project proposals have been submitted to the Joint Technical Secretariat.

24 applications have been submitted under the Thematic Objective 1 ‘Promotion of Social Inclusion and Fight against Poverty’, 21 applications – under the Thematic Objective 2 ‘Support to Local and Regional Good Governance’ and 22 applications – under the Thematic Objective 3 ‘Promotion of Local Culture and Preservation of Historical Heritage’.

During this Call for Proposals, the most popular Priority among the applications is 3.1 ‘Promoting and Preserving Cultural and Historical Heritage and Traditional Skills’ – 22 applications have been received (33% of all applications). 19 applications (28%) have been received under the Priority 1.1 ‘Promotion of Social Inclusion and Fight Against Poverty’. The Priority 2.2. ‘Strengthening Society’ is the 3rd popular Priority this time – 13 applications (19%) have been submitted.

The requested EU funding in the applications submitted under the two most popular priorities constitutes 15,4 and 10,6 MEUR respectively. The total value of projects submitted under all five priorities amounts to 41,9 MEUR (EU funding: 37,7 MEUR).

The biggest number of applications have been submitted by the Lead beneficiaries from Lithuania (39) and Latvia (22):

The biggest number of the received applications (48) have involved two or three beneficiaries in a project, 9 applications have been prepared by four or five beneficiaries. 10 applications have foreseen bigger partnerships (six to eight beneficiaries in a project).
